Hello!
I am back: Happy Summer.
Today I’m introducing a new section to the Nourish Newsletter called: “No Recipe Needed”. So many of my clients ask me for easy meal suggestions in its simplest form. These recipes are quick, easy and no fuss! They will become your go-to selection for daily cooking. I hope you enjoy this new format. Drum roll please, I be introducing more recipes. The newsletter will be bi-weekly instead of monthly. Also this new section will be apart of my new lineup.
Are you having fun this Summer? We are enjoying the best produce summer has to offer. We are having a blast at our local farmers market. Now is time to experiment with new and not-so-new ingredients. I love to use EWG (Environmental Working Group) list called The Dirty Dozen and Clean 15. When buying produce for my clients. It has become a helpful tool. It will inform you of high and low amounts of pesticides on your favorite fruits and veggies.
Did You Know?
”Almost 75 percent of fresh produce sold in the US has residues of pesticides on fruits and veggies.” Get the Guide: The Dirty Dozen and Clean 15
It will help you make informed decisions when shopping for fruits and vegetables.
WELCOME TO
The last thing I want to do on a busy summer day is to cook a time-consuming meal. Today I’m sharing with you a fresh, tasty and colorful salad. This recipe has only 10 ingredients including yogurt if you don’t have it on hand. I wanted to make this section accessible for any level cook who may not be, experienced in the kitchen. Use this new section as a simple guideline for getting good, tasty food on the table.
Note: Swap out the plain yogurt for your favorite non-dairy yogurt.
