Hi Friends,
The cozy season is upon us!
As the days grow shorter and the warm air turns cool, and the tree leaves turn bright orange, red and yellow, autumn made its grand debut. It is a season of gathering and sharing. It is also a great time to make changes to your daily habits. Starting a new routine can bring joy and peace to your life.
Here are some tips that helped me improve my self-care routine that you may find helpful.
Give your to-do list an upgrade. Create a list of tasks you want to carry out this season and organize them by date and time.
Take time to relax, do some reading, and write a journal. It helps me to clear my mind and reduce stress.
Walking in the park is a great way to appreciate the beauty of the changing season.
Adding some colorful decor to your home will provide some vibrancy and joy!
Make yourself a relaxing cup of tea, coffee, hot apple cider, or hot chocolate. Unwind and enjoy the season.
Do you love fresh produce, like me? Take a trip to the farmer's market. Here is a list of some fall fruits and veggies. Apples, Pears, Winter Squash, Cranberries, Pumpkin, Leeks, Brussels Sprouts, Sweet Potatoes, Parsnips, and Broccoli.
Fall is an exciting time to experiment with cooking a new seasonal dish. Start using some of these fall ingredients and add them to your favorite meals. I like using them in soups, stews, savory pot pies, sheet-pan dinners, desserts, cobblers, and pies. Try a new dish or dessert using the autumn produce above!
Do you have any self-care tips that will help you get through the autumn season?
